Now that cabin side boards are made its time to fit them.

Now that the cabin sides are all sanded and ready to that put into position on the boat, it is time to get the edge of the deck sorted so that the new cabin sides can fit correctly on to the carlins and the cabin sides will stand upright. The main difference this time with the cabin sides is that they will be bolted through the carlins and not just standing on top of the deck. This should make fro a more watertight job, as before the cabin sides where just sitting on the deck without being fixed to the deck or the carlins apart from a covering board which was fixed to the cabin sides and to the carlin by a series of screws and when you walked on the deck the cabin side joint would move, not a good job and a way of doing the job which is not going to be repeated.
